I'm doing an A109 with a 4 blade head. I have always used Carbon Fiber blades on my regular heli's Aerodyne RC has some blades that are injection molded plastic with carbon. Has anyone ever used these blades, and if so, what do you think of them. Here is the link to the blades I'm talking about>

I looked getting those blades for my 90 size MD500. With the weight of my heli being around 15 lbs. those blades flexed to much for my liking . On a lighter Electric heli , they might do fine . I have seen them on a 500 size scale and smaller Electric , and they looked good in the air .

I was at RC Aerodyne when I was looking at those blades.

Check These Out...
My scale flying buddy tried a set of these on his 700 rex before it goes into a 109 fuselage and they are great flying blades... After I flew his, I have a set on order for my 700.. very wide cord, perfect weight/balance, flat black finish, and even in the wind felt very solid, while others (mine) were getting pretty knocked around by the "breeze"!!!
Certainly cost a "bit" more then the RCA's!!!! Stan

Do you know the size of the bolt holes in the blades. The web site didn't say what it was.

Thanks,
Jim

Measurements
I measured the set that we flew and the hole took a 4mm bolt, but they could have had a spacer if it says they are 4/5mm
Also they are 12mm because we needed to use the supplied spacers on the 700 Rex FBL..

Hope this helps you out... Stan

Do your self a favor and invest in the Spin Blades. doorman was talking about my 700. I would run them on everything I own if they made left hand rotation for my Varios.

These blades fly unbelievable.
