You have Hobby shops on Speed dial!
You are on chat forums longer than you are at work.

You reschedule a date because the sun came out.

You run errands, forgot the list but remembered your helis.

Guilty.

When you pass an open field and think of flying there!

When your vacation includes (IS) IRCHA!

All you think of is RC Helis!

You can't control the " Just one More"!

If you start buying/wearing RC Heli apparel

You buy a car (truck) based on fitting all your heli stuff.

You have the WHOLE spare bedroom (the basement!) dedicated to your work area.

When it goes from a hobby to a lifestyle

U start using your hands to act like a heli and learn new manuevers.
A room in your house looks like a hobby shop!

You have Hobby shops on Speed dial!

You crash a heli and go to the car and get another one!

When someone say "sticks" you think of gimble!
Ok...guilty!

Yea speaking of vehicles, I bought a Chrysler town and country because the stow and go seating was just what I was after. No more having to take the seats out.

When you know from experience a Dodge GRAND Caravan is 8 ft from the back of the front seats instead of seven feet like the regular Dodge caravan. More room for helis.

When you know from EXPERIENCE that the largest plane that will fit in your grand caravan is a 100cc.

When you ride around with both rear seats removed cause it is easier to get to your helis when you can use either side door or the rear hatch.

When you use your dining room table to build your new Radikal G20 cause you can.

ENGAGE!!

when its a choice between picking up the kids at school or making them stay for "tutoring" just so you can go fly...

when you drive around town with the family and notice any "barely waving flag" (especially the tall big ones) as an indicator of great flying conditions....so you get cranky and make excuses to get back home.

when RR went down you wore black for the whole freaking month.

if you earned the "master" or "professor" status on RR in less than two years.

your typing skills have improved ten fold just because of RR.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

you have a heli in your glove box and your trunk at any given time

you rehearse new moves in a day dream when you should be working

you only look at your flying day when the weekly weather forecast comes on

you convince your wife that you just got a new canopy when it's really a new kit you built on the sly

you get the new heli shipped to your work and have to explain the odd sized box to your co-workers

you talk dirty to your sim

readyheli asks you for direct payroll deposit because it's more convenient in the first place

you have a bowl full of vendor candy

you pretend you need to poop just to read a heli mag

Addicted radio controlled heli addicts!

Here are the 12 steps:

Helicopters Anonymous 12 steps

1. We amitted we were powerless over our love of r/c helicopters and that are wife's and kid's lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a greater and more powerful helicopter could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to buy another helicopter and turn the lives of are closes living relatives over to the care of any thing of thier chosing, as long as they do not bother us.

4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of all the local hobby shops, on-line web pages and trade magazines.

5. Admitted to anyone who would listen and ourselves that the inventory we took in step 4 makes us want more helicopters and there is nothing wrong with that!

6.Were entirely ready to buy another helicopter that has a lot of 'character'.

7. Humbly asked our significant others to remove money from the bank account.

8. Made a list of all the stuff we needed and became willing to spend alot of money to buy it all.

9. Made direct purchases from such people wherever possible, except when to do so would cost to much.

10. Continued to take an inventory and when we wrong, promptly admitted it and purchased the right inventory.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our fleet of helicopters, praying only for the money to carry that out.

12. Having had an awakening as the result of these helicopters, we tried to carry them to the flying field and to practice flying everyday.
