Looking for an alternative to You Tube or Facebook where I can upload videos and share by sending a link via email. Also as an online storage device.

Thanks

I always use Dropbox. I'm up to 10G for free from specials and such.

When you start, you get 2G but using referrals or specials, you can grow the size of that space.

If you use this link: http://db.tt/t79Rem9P then you will get 2.5G and I will get another .5G.

Your free space grows with referrals and check out the 'get free space' link once you create an account and log in. You get extra space by linking to facebook etc.

Dropbox storage is in the cloud and you can sync the cloud with your computer or phone. So access your files from phone, local directory on your computer, or using a website.

You can share folders within dropbox etc.

hey
i also use dropbox as u8mydog stated....i'm up to 16.5gbs on the free account just from referring a bunch of friends and family, getting them to sign up...

it is great.....i use it as a both a way to send files (dropbox has great features such as generating public links, sharing folders, etc.) and i also use it as a back-up cloud storage space for my important documents and photos....

let us know if you have any questions!

dropbox is by far the most seamless and the one that just works without bothering you!

peace will

hey
girard.....go into dropbox's preferences and enable "camera upload"

then just drop a butt load of pictures into the new folder dropbox will place in your dropbox (called "camera uploads" or something)...

let them upload....meaning just copy and past your pictures into that special folder....and then i think if you upload 3gb of pictures then they give you 3gb of extra space...

best thing is once you have uploaded and gotten the free space, disable the option and wipe the whole camera uploads folder and you get to keep the free space!

peace will
