Man I am stoked, I did buy a used g20 a couple off days ago.
Been dialing it in and had 3 nice hovers and easy flying. What a stable bird, and as a old gearhead I love the sound

I have one each....TT uses less power. I hear parts are short for it right now. How many flights are on the one you bought?

I think around 1 gallon. I still run the motor rich. One problem that I have is fuel coming out through the vent line....

Cool. Mine should show up Mon. Got a motor and everything sitting here just waiting for her to show up.

As for the vent line, take about 10" of fuel line and make a big loop and put that between the motor and the fuel tank that way there is always some part of the fuel line above the tank and that should fix your leak.

I am as impatient as I was to get the G30 in the air. This is gonna be great 2 Gassers each time I go out, and since it is smaller I will not expect it to fly just like its big sister, it can be its own thing.

I do have the loop on the vent line...
When I fly hard I can see some gas coming from the vent line

since it is smaller
not really much smaller...the G20 is only some 2 inches shorter (just boom length) nose to tail compared to a g30...

I have always wanted a G30 the day thay came out, but I have way too much invested in the G20....

But funny you mention G20 parts getting harder to find...just noticed Esprit Model no longer even sells the G20...just parts

Ron lunds still sells G20s but takes forever to restock and never offered the G30...

wish there were more reliable and reputable sources for Centurys line of gassers over just Heli world.

anyways...some guys use a one way valve on the vent line...never tried it as I fear that it would allow too much pressure to build up in the tank....Carey uses one and it seems to prevent that problem.

Two loops work for me. I also bent brass tube shy about 1/16" from touching tank. You can tell when you fill it to the top.

Any foaming by running rich?

Nope no foaming, not what I can see...

I can only see a few drops coming from the vent line when I hit the pitch hard.

Welcome to the Century Family.
I hope you enjoy your new heli. It is a great heli to work on and fly.

Well, I went and got an iKON fbl system. Did install it over the weekend and just finished my first hover. So far so good.
The heli in beginner mode is way too touchy for me, have to find out how to turn it down.
