Up for sale is my trusty MSH Protos Helicopter. I’ve been flying this model for the past 5 years. I went from beginner pilot to solid amateur pilot with this bird. I’m doing maneuvers and transitions now that I never thought I would be able to do. And I learned them all on this amazing heli. Yes, this heli has been crashed several times. But, every time a crash occurred, so did a complete teardown and rebuild. I wasn’t comfortable flying any heli unless it was as mechanically sound as it was the first build. So, rest assured that every part that was even suspect of damage was replaced, all bearings were cleaned with a bearing blaster then re-lubricated (notchy or loose bearings were thrown out), and a complete reset of esc, motor, and servo electronics (which included sending them in to their respective repair centers for a clean bill of health). Yes, every crash I did this.
I’m selling this heli because I recently purchased my first 700 (synergy E7), and because I don’t have the time to keep two heli’s maintained the way I want to. Additionally, my flying time has become very limited due to a 2 year old and new born. When I do find time to fly it’s in short bursts that really only allow me to fly a handful of times. The E7 is my pick because I’ve committed to it being my platform for the next five years.
I want to build my reputation in Run Ryder as a reputable fellow heli addict. So, I’m offering this bird for a bargain. I want someone to get a great price, for an amazing heli that is well maintained, and ready to fly as if it were a first build.
So, up for sale is my Stretch carbon MSH Protos. Included in this listing are Hitec 5245mg servos on cyclic, MKS DS-8901A+ (I have not been able to get the tail to blow out with this servo), two Thunder Power 45c 2600 batteriers (broken in right with only 10-15 cycles total), two Pulse 65c 2600 batteries (broken in right with only 10-15 cycles total), NEU Motor 1708/1.5Y (rebuilt by NEU Motors 3 months ago after a crash – NEU motors said the dented can has no impact on the motors performance, and I proved it by flying it for the past 3 months), a brand new Castle Light ICE 100 (has four flights on it for testing), a castle BEC, SAB 470mm blades, thrusted tail upgrade, FBL Head upgrade, and 18 tooth tail pulley for increase tail authority when flying at 2400 rpm. I’ve also included all the parts necessary for making this heli a non-stretch heli. This heli is very smooth, fast, and powerful at 2400 rpm. I have been flying at this head speed for the past 4 years with great success, and the flight time is 5 to 5.5 minutes of medium 3D. This heli, as set up, truly rips!!!! Notice the placement of the tail servo. It did this so I could achieve a perfectly balanced heli.
I’ve always used 6.5 mm bullets, because they never get hot like deans plugs, and force me to slow down when thinking through my pre-flight check list. I know not everyone likes them, so let me know if you want me to remove them for another style plug.
I’m offering this package for $500 (shipping and paypal fees included). All it needs to fly is a FBL unit, and receiver. I can throw in the Flybar stuff too for free, if requested. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions regarding this heli. I'm more then happy to send additional high resolution photos. Because, I’m new to selling stuff on RR, please look at my Ebay feedback (I’ve been selling stuff there since 2003). See link. I’ve also listed this heli there. ---> http://www.ebay.com/itm/MSH-Protos-...=item2ec69888e0
