looks to me with all the videos that it was a fly by type meteor that blew up 50 miles up from heat build up, most skipped off back into space and the rest flew down which explains the gun blast effect, peices of the metor hitting sonic boom,

The ones that skip off into space don't penetrate deep into the atmosphere, explode, and injure 1,100 people however. This one exploded and fragments hit the ground.
