I just got one this week also and will start to build this weekend, so I'll share pictures as I go along. I am using Outrage servos also with AR7200BX. I have the Quantum 4530-500 and may buy a CC HV160 today, but not fully made up my mind.

The connector subject is one that concerns me also. I have been a Deans user until now, but with the larger batteries involved, I am tempted to switch everything I have to EC5 or something of that caliber. That could be a day-long job!

On the motor, I plan to use larger diameter bullet connectors. Someone on RR suggested the Castle 6.5mm bullets so I may use them instead of the small ones that Quantum supplied.

For Power, I have a 2S ThunderPower 2250mAh pack that I will use for the meantime.

I wire all of my series connectors on the ESC. 1 connector on each wire, with a wire in between. No extra wire harness. I use a WR Hercules Super BEC running off 12S on my Outrage BLS servos. I use PRC6 connectors on all my batteries/ESCs now.

Hi,

I use EC5's for the supply to the ESC. Did the series connection on the ESC.

EC3's for the Rx supply, I am using a regulator from a 2S supply.

Hi Mike,

Here is a quick shot of my series connection soldered directly to my ESC. I run a WR bec which is mounted underneath the heli.
