hey there guys, if you have not seen my other thread iv finally came up with a way around the crown gear problem. i decided to cut some custom frames that will seamlessly accept the E7 tail drive. is anyone else interested in a set? uses all the same parts at the E9/N9 except the crown gear and TT. you can keep your old tail box, or stick a new style on for ease of finding parts. just a feeler. im guessing they would cost around 100 bucks for the side frames

sorry it took so long guys. here are a few pictures and a video of the conversion i did on my E9. i want to cut a set of frames so i can get away from having to use the E7 transmission plates and so by boom block doesnt need the washers. i will also be using the full E7 tail drive and tail box on my birds.

here is the video: http://s639.beta.photobucket.com/us...10_621.mp4.html

Good to hear, are you still doing the N9 and E9 frames? Could do with a set or two of both.

What about using "g10" ?
I think that is what they call it.

I just flew my N9 first time in 5 years. Maybe time for conversion. Or sale.

What is the expected price of the frame kits?

i got a shipping notification for the carbon fiber today. i think the first run will be all N9 frames i want to get them out and make sure people like the way they work before i make a bunch and tie up a bunch of money into it.
i think the price should be around 100 bucks for the side frame set. i need to see what cutting costs will be first. please pm me if your interested so i can get a solid list of people that want a set
