Cool, let me know when you get to 50.
I see there might be an option to use mini servos in addition to full size servos, cuts down the cost of going out and buying new servos, can just grab from my parts box.
What size servos are you using in your 500?

I really like the Goblins 500 smaller proportions to its bigger brother. I'm digging the fiber glass boom option. The new head design is a better option for me as well.

Love mine except for the canopy screws need to go

Work great on my 630 but the threads are way to fine on the 500

Heli flies great even with the mini servos, great heli for sure

About 150 flights on mine. Scorpion 4020-1100 with 19T pinion, Talon 90, Sivlerline vBar, vBar gov, BLS9188 tail servo, Futaba S9650 cyclics (upgraded to MKS metal gears when they were still available), Hercules Super BEC at 6V for power, Pulse 3700mah 45C packs. 2700RPM idle 2. I get about 4 minutes of flight and love the heli more every day. It is very precise and just plain fun to fly. At 2700RPM it is surprisingly fast.

I'm no Bert, but I smack it around pretty hard for those 4 minutes. I'm beyond sport flying, but I'm certainly not a pro pilot. I have also flown it at 2500rpm to play with slow 3D and precision flight. It does that just as well as smacking. Besides my super-beefy G700, I think this is a new favorite for me.

Guess I am a strange fellow but I like the 500 allot more than my original 700 this is a really nice heli plus I like the locking battery tray. I flew mine with a 6S 2600 pack it was light as a feather.

Ok... I admit it. I love my 700, but there is a fun factor with the 500 that gives it a little edge for me. :-)

Great Heli
Red/White here and I love it. I have logged about 42 flights all without any hiccups. I am still tinkering around with headspeed and may change my setup to use vbar gov, so far though it has been great with a lot of power.

This is my setup:
Motor: Scorpion HKIII-4020-1350KV (I had to actually cut some of the pinion sleeve adapter because pinion had to go all the way down for belt to sit properly)
Esc:Castle Creations Talon 90
Gov:Talon 90
Bec:Talon 90
FBL:Full size silver Vbar
Cyclic:Hitec HS7245
Rudder:Futaba BLS256HV
Normal:2400
IU1:2550
IU2:2795
