Im with ya on the smell of nitro, there is just something about it! IMO, Nitro definitely smells better than a lipo that has caught on fire.

^F That!

The residue, the noise, the burning eyes, the gear to start it, crop circles.

Electric all the way. Instant power and save the environment you polluters.

Get on board or get left behind. When's the last time a pro flew a nitro in competition? The 70's?

I'm using a small nitro engine to run a generator to charge my lipos while I fly. I get way longer flights than a gasser.

The noise, I like! The gear to start it, is it really any more than your generator, charger, balance boards, ammo can so you dont burn your car up or your house down?
Electric all the way. Instant power and save the environment you polluters.
What is so enviromentally friendly about lipos? Just how many responsible people are out there that dispose of tired lipos properly, or are they filling up our landfills?

I guess thats the difference between you and I, I am happy with what makes me happy, you are happy with what the "pros" are told to fly by their sponsors. If you can keep up with them, more power to ya!

By the way, 4 out of my 5 non-micro birds have flybars also!

Fine, Time to stir the pile. Here, I have finally figured out where the Foo sheild comes from. It all stems from that one trip to the zoo.

You can't start a nitro heli without an electric starter, so therefore electric rules.
