Wondering if there is a big difference in power between 15 or 30% fuel... Does the head shim have to be changed? I skimmed through the manual and did not see much info on this thanks...

The engine makes really good power on 15% nitro fuel. If you go back to last year and look at the IRCHA ONE contest with Nick and the TT G4, that model was running a 105 with 15% fuel.

Do a little searching and you should quickly find that everyone is recommending 15% for the 1.05

I have both shims in my head and running 30%

If I go to 15%...which shim do I remove?

I am in southern Ohio(Lucasville) at about 600 feet above sea level.

I literally never use the word literally right.

I use 15% at sea level, Works great , When I travel up to Johannesburg , i switch to 30% (5000 ft) , makes a difference , but I must admit , not quite as big a difference as when I had the 91 hz motor

Byron's has recently released 22.5% Masters Blend specifically for the OS 1.05.

Per my conversation with Mr. Steve Helms, he recommends the 22.5% blend fuel w/ 1 thick shim in the head with the OS 1.05.
