I have a trex SE 2. My LHS can only get blade 450 canopy grommets. Anyone know if they the same size?

I'd bet they are. They're usually the same size. Some are firmer then others.

Cheap enough to take a shot.

A lot of parts are interchangeable between brands. You'd be surprised.

IIRC round Futaba servo grommets work in a pinch too.

I personally prefer the aluminum grommets from China.

I have used them and they're perfect.

Those look cool - bet they get some attention at the field.
Is the part that contacts the plastic/fiberglass on the canopy metal? How do they install?
Spendy, but I spent almost 3 bucks for 4 rubber ones at the LHS so I'm real interested.

There are rubber O rings between the grommet and canopy.

The grommets threaded in two halves.
The two halves thread together through a hole in the canopy and sandwich in tight.
