Planning on running 12S 3600mah for a Logo 600SX build with a Pyro 700-45L and 600mm blades.

Do you guys see any issues with this setup? Flying style is mild 3D for now.

Thanks for your thoughts...

Ron, Pyro 700-45L is a 450 kv motor as well...the devil is in the details

To the OP, sounds like a pretty good setup to me! Maybe you can try some 623s as well!

Rotorfreke, your setup will work very well. I use 3850 and 4000 mAh setup on my Logo 600. Both work great and I get a really good fight time of around 6 minutes. Some will tell you that the setup is too heavy. They're wrong is the only good way to put it.

The only thing I might add is the K motor is good, but you can get just as good results with the Scorpion for less and better results with the Xera 4030/3Y-470, if you can find one. The Scorp HKIII 4035-450 would tend to bog just a bit more than the Xera. The K will be the same as the Scorp in my experience.

Thanks for the comments guys. I really appreciate the expertise you all bring to the Mikado forum. It has really helped me move up the curve really fast.

In terms of the blades, what is the advantage (or not) of 600 vs 623 blades on this setup? More cyclic authority?

Todd

Bigger blades = more collective pop and stability. Also slower cyclics
I would go with bigger blades for the heavier end of the weight and smaller ones for the lighter e d of the weights of the 600

Thanks Ron - I'll give the 600s a go first. Looking for a pair of 6S 3300's that are around 600g for good COG

I use the glacier lipos
I believe they are 615grams each for the 3300 6s so it would balance good.

Eddy- the 6s 3300 were way too light, sent them back today. The 4000's are 613g which I think I'm going to go for

My bad i was thinking of the wrong packs(just off memory)
I have 3300 from my 600e.
Can the 3300 balance or do they stick out too much.
I have not tried to balance the heli yet.
I have the 600 3d so it does not have the long boom with all that wight back there.

I have Thor 3700 on my 600 3-D and they work excellent. Great Flight times. THE best of any heli I've tried and Ive tried a lot of them.

@sseppala

How it the COG with the 3700's? How far from the back of the battery tray do you have to move the packs?
