I purchased a metal tail boom for my MCPX recently. How do you remove the motor from the plastic housing? The only way I can see how is to cut the wires and resolder. Suggestions?

you could split the carbon tube (crush it a bit with pliers). Then you wrap the wire around the new boom. As long as the plastic coating is in good shape on the wires it'll be fine.
