+1. Jersey modeler. Although they got very pricey lately, still a great fuel system.

I just built one myself and it only took about 40 dollars. It is 2.5 gallons and is powered by a glacier 2s 1300mah lipo. Works Great!!!

The best fuel jug is no fuel jug in my opinion.

Pouring fuel into another container introduces another possibility of contaminating the fuel.

My vote goes for the Slimline SL2000 fuel pumps.

Screws directly to the 1 Gal containers our fuel comes in, never leaks, and is very reliable.

The Slimline is definitely one of the better purchases I have made in this hobby. The fuel is always fresh, one gallon at a time.

I just finished rebuilding my Jersey setup tonight. Spent 3 nights on it. Being an older set up it used the cheap pumps that always would start leaking sooner or later. So this time I went the extra mile and bought a Slimline Boxer, a new deeper box (Radio Shack, exact same thing)and went to work modifying the internal area of the box, drilling four holes in the bottom end to mount the pump, dpdt center off switch, and used a 3S lipo on the outside. Did not want to stick the lipo in the box for obvious safety reasons. The Boxer is in the box..lol..lipo attaches with velcro so it can always be removed from the fuel source for storage/safety concerns and allows you to grab the damn thing off if it should have an issue. All holes have grommets too. It works great! Very pleased. Burn a lot of nitro during the year.

From this which developed a leak in 3 months

70 bucks seems like a lot for a plastic jug, but that is a very nice setup!

Yeah, Jersey Modeler is pricey, but it is the best fuel system I've ever had.

2.5 gal minimizes the fuel jug transfer, and it never tips over in my truck either.

Fuel jugs would bloat out and roll around like a damn ball esp in the summer!!

it was worth it IMO.

Mike0251 I had The same pump and it starting leaking before to long. So I got the boxer pump and that ended my leaks. I use the NiMH 7-Cell 8.4V 4200mAh packs.I have had great luck with these packs, I do not have the packs on the fuel side of my flight box That I built. The Jersey Modeler jug are worth the money they last and built great!
