To me, this wasn't even necessary to post. Not knocking you for doing so, but you knew the right action or you wouldn't have posted.
I received an extra canopy from Fusuno season before last. Duplicate order. several other items too. I just sent them an email and offered to buy it if they could see their way to make me a bargain. they were very happy to do so. Win-win.

How does that apply in this case? Federal law, after all, clearly states that the merchandise is now hootowl's property and he has no legal obligation to return or pay for the merchandise. Therefore, no theft has occured.
He knew for a fact that the items were not his and he kept them. I bet that would go over real good in a court of law. Yes your honor, I knew they were not mine but they mailed them to me so I deiced to keep them even though I knew they were not legally mine. But if you feel it is ok to keep something that was sent to you by mistake, then go ahead and keep it. Just goes to show more of the problems with this country, you would probably blame it on the president. Just remember if you ever send out something and it goes to the wrong address, you are out of luck, it is no longer yours and it belongs to the person that you accidentally sent it to.

PsychoZ you're an idiot.... first class.

I wasn't home when the package arrived. A family member signed for it.

Besides, even if I was at home, I wouldn't have opened it before the post man left. I don't always remember if I had ordered something.

We are talking about HK here. Not a person . HK is in the business of selling Chinese goods at cut throat prices, lying on the customs forms and shipping lipos by air mail with no disclosure.

Is that how Readiheli operates?

And so I treat HK a little different than you or others who are just individuals... not a skeevy corporation.

I sent them a note. If they don't respond in a reasonable amount of time then tough.

Look.... there is not a single piece of paper in the package as to who ordered it. WHY????? Because it looks like they don't want a record back.

Don't you see... they basically are sucking every penny out of every sale by cheating. Yes i buy from them but i don't honor them.

At least i admit my fault if you want to look at it that way. Many order from them in secret LOL

PsychoZ,
Did you not even read the law that says they ARE legally his?

Besides, hootowl has done his due diligence from a moral standpoint. He has initiated contact with HK. Let's see how long it takes for them to respond, if they do.

Hoot, HK breaks shipping laws everyday and gambles lives for profit. They are shipping LiPo's in unmarked packages on passenger planes. I long for the day the fed catches up with not only the shipper but the importers of these illegally shipped batteries. It is my understanding there will be karma to pay at that time. Hopefully no planes are taken down in the meantime.

I'll admit I'm not a great pilot, but I can hover with the best of them.

Hoot, I keep going back and forth on this, and lot of guys have
some good points. But the thing is, there was NO info in there as
to who the original buyer was. And if there was I certainly would
have sent it on, and looks like you would have too.

I think you care more about what we think than you let on, or you
would not have posted this to start with. You have done your part
by contacting them, and now the ball is in their court. If they
want the stuff back, they should certainly send what is needed to
do so, labeling, postage, shipping box, everything. If they do not
respond, I'd say this is a done deal.

Send it to the WW project. Surely some of that truck stuff could
be used in the helis, especially the batts.

OK I got a response from HK. I'm keeping the stuff. It looks like they think it was supposed to be an order for me but got messed up. I already gave them the info they just requested, and I was clear about the issue. This is gonna be a time waster for me and them. I said before, I'm not going out of my way to straighten this out because the value is not worth it. It looks like they are only looking to fix my issue. I don't have an issue. The person who's order may have gotten screwed up will have to work from their end. How do we know the person that ordered this stuff didn't get their stuff too? Who the heck knows and i don't care. Jimmy crack corn LOL Make me a sandwich.

Carry on everyone. The responses are fun.

Now I'm gonna sell what I don't want because it's ethical to not throw away good stuff.
Thanks for contacting the hobby king Support Team.

We are sorry to hear the item in your order seems incorrect. Would you please provide us the order number you have received?

(I did not receive an order number with this package. I told them this "Hello. Yesterday I received a package from Singapore. The tracking number was the same as the order I had already received for order number 2006107791.)

To open a claim file for you, please kindly provide us some photos to show all the items you received with the bar code label on the item.
We will forward the information to check with warehouse.

Thanks for emailing support.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Noticed on the E- Mail you sent - you conveniently did not provide them with any detailed itemized information, nor the part number's of the item's you received.

They requested it from you in their response back to you

YOU

INTENTIONALLY LEFT THEM GUESSING : FOR A ADVANTAGE -

With the part number's -or a photo for identification / within second's and the push of a button they could do a sort on the order's. and Contact the recipient---

Two got screwed - The Company -

The poor person waiting for his order - who is still waiting

- has payed for it $$$

- unaware of his order is lost

- and is charged for it - to unscramble his credit account card

AND THEN to Sell It for Profit - based upon some one's loss

What a Good Deal - Integrity Suck's - It Linger's

More than TWO lost

GREYEAGLE,

Looks like you are HELL bent on making me the bad guy here. I sent them this... Does this look like I was trying to manipulate them?

Now read the response. Does it sound like they read mine and interpreted it correctly?

Their is never a exit or excuse or diversion for integrity:

Just to post the conflict -- for personal notoriety - and attention on your measurement of INTEGRITY, to gain justification on your conscience for a EXCUSE : or reason

is a great lesson !

Well I will honestly say I was just poking fun just to pass time and I already know hootowl is doing the same, just look at his past post, feedback ect... He a good/stand up guy and not about to come on here and flat out say hes ripping someone off, well I don't think he would..
hobby king wouldn't make him send the stuff back because it would cost more than what its worth..
I would try keeping this going but some don't have thick skin and sound like they wanna give hootowl a internet beat down.....

Why exasperate the same premise - ?? I would not fall for the same - Not for Free - For it is NOT with out a COST : responsibility / to be accountable / Integrity

A Tough Lesson - Not on my Plate it's full, along with the meal's of many others. You can only fathom - complaining about free.

Their is always a cost. You Missed The Lesson
