He didnt steal nor open someone else's package. He opened a package that was sent to him with his address on it. no ID inside as to whom the rightful owner was or is, so he under the federal law owns it now. Whats the harm? The actual person who had placed the order will be righted for sure and as stated, he/she will get to see first hand how HK's customer service is.

The mailing address is on the PACKAGE.Many times I got someone elses mail, few times from another state..The package or letter ALWAYS has the mailing address on it and if it doesn't,the mail man/lady wouldn't drop it off..

Always took it back to the shipper...

Who sent me this package of lipos.... via airmail? Are you allowed to do that?
And BTW, see it says (2) parts? There are (7) and the value is over $200.

Is somebody cheating? Or is the value to whoever sent it only $21

No other paperwork.

Who do i call?

It was mailed to me .... my address.

Seriously everyone... if it was a package that was totally legit and a package that had someone else's delivery address on it and the postman put it at the wrong house.... or if it was something of high value/importanace, I would treat this differently.

Well to be honest, that picture helps and maybe some jumped to conclusions. This is not a big deal. Some here think it is. I don't.

I got a lot of attention though.... I feel better.

Seriously though.... HK is really putting a hurtin on the US hobby shops
by doing this. They are cheating every way they can to undercut.

Sell that stuff! Please don`t steal my helis

Or you could make an educational video of what happens when you charge lipos at wrong voltage and wrong rate.

At least he made an effort to pretend to care about others opinions.... I personally would have been typing a craigslist ad instead

Nothing needs to be done as it was not undeliverable and it was mailed to ME.

Send in the clowns.

Stuff in the mail
When I was finishing my basement, I mail ordered a couple of grand plus (maybe 3k+ I forgot) of hardwood floor. Took like a couple of weeks and then showed up by delivery truck, a whole pallet worth of it and then some.

Two weeks later another pallet showed up, same amount, wtf? But the first order was complete and the right amount, what happened?

The installer said, "what are you going to do with all that stuff? Give it to me, I'll install it and give you something for it." I said no-way its not mine to just give out to you? I gotta return it to them. He thought I was crazy.

Well I waited a couple of weeks until they installed the floor complete and used most of the packages from the original shipment but took a handful of the new one as some of the original ones the cardboard boxes were damaged on the outside so I just swapped them to be sure I don't get chipped or damaged product in there. When everything was installed and done I thought about it here and there and the devil said hey keep it, sell it, get your money back, whatever, COULDN'T do it.

Picked up the phone and called them up said I got a double delivery and to send someone back to pick up their product. Another week or so later they did, a truck driver came and as easily as I got the free hardwood floor, off it went back to where I bought it. You know what? After that truck pulled away I felt a sense of happiness and relief that I did the right thing and sent it back to them. There was no sense is keeping it, they would have lost money for sure if I did that and it just wasn't right. Probably would have crashed my helicopter the next day as that hand from above smack thee down!

Karma etc is nonexistent. Do what you feel is right, none of us have the right to judge.

The only thing I see is that with HK customer service, I can see them denying the person who did order it any refund or replacement, simply because they DID send a package out, even if it was to the wrong person. So, you may not have any effect on HK, but some normal guy here in the states who ordered a motor and batts for his RC car may get screwed.

Just my thought. I've had things like that happen before and I always contacted the vendor. Sometimes they said to keep it, sometimes send it back. Saying you'd return it if it came from RH but not HK makes no sense. You either feel an obligation to return it or you don't, your own morality isn't defined by the other party.

All good points.

Yes, the main subject here is whether I should notify HK. I'll call them today or email them.

I find it interesting that no one responds to the facts about how HK ships and the fact that they sell at crippling pricing.... prices we know are impossible in this country even at the lowest cost, materials and wages. Shipping methods that are borderline illegal if not illegal. Most likely stealing and copying products.

Probably because most of us here do-gooders buy from them..... including ME.

Harbor Freight sells a torque wrench (automotive) that used to cost well over a hundred bucks. They sell one for $9.99. I couldn't ship it to you for that. How is it possible for them to sell that wrench for $9.99?

GERYEAGLE is right.... it's a ME society.
