Hobby King sent me a package with over $200 worth of stuff in it. No paperwork inside no indication of who it was for.

I'm just gonna sell it all.

Thanks HK!

This should be a good one.....

Can't wait to see all the responses that you should keep it just because it is hobby king, and all the other ones that say it is wrong to keep it.

Gonna get a beer and some popcorn for this one.

By federal law, it is yours to keep and do with as you wish.

"What do you do when you receive merchandise that you didn’t order? According to the Federal Trade Commission, you don’t have to pay for it. Federal laws prohibit mailing unordered merchandise to consumers and then demanding payment." (http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/article...red-merchandise)

Yeah, if you keep it, you never get to bitch about something screwing you within the letter of the law.

Came from singapore

Thing is, HK is a bitch to work with. The worth of the stuff to them is peanuts compared to Readiheli and our better suppliers. It's not even worth my time to contact them.

Here's what i got. Who ordered it.... I'll send it to you for just shipping...

Trackstar 150A brushless speed control $67.73
Trackstart Brushless motor S4168 2650 KV $52.26
Programming Card $7.80
2 batteries 4000 4S Nano's 35-70C $86.12

HK sells stuff so cheap they should be the ones with the Karma, not me.

Am I justifying it to myself?

Actually no. I could care less what you all think realistically, in this situation as I don't have a lot of respect for HK.

If it was Ready or Direct or any US store I know i would call them.

This package has only a shipping label.

I gotch your karma right here

They should have to send you a postage paid box...gas money for the trip to and from the post office...money for wear and tear on your vehicle...and compensation in the amount of your local prevailing wage for parcel carriers.

Otherwise, their mistake will actually cost you time and money to correct.

Tough call....Would I pay for someone elses mistake?
If I assigned value to the mistaken party...Yes.
If I had no respect for the mistaken party or if they had caused me grief in the past....Unlikely.lol...

I literally never use the word literally right.

All those who spout off about karma should give up all their worldly possessions, travel to Tibet, and study Buddhism seriously for ten years. If you're not willing to do that, it's just psychobabble. Oh, and don't forget to wear special sandals so you won't crush ants. That's all part of the karma train, baby...

Keep the stuff or sell it. HK will put you through seven kinds of hell to return it, and I guarantee it'll be on your dime and that will be the last you hear from them. They have managed to screw up my last two $400 orders, they sat there for up to three months with no response from them. They have a lot of improvements to make before they are a regular company.
