I just bought a brand new 3GX and immediately updated it to 3.0. From setup to this video took 5 flights to test and tune in close to what I want the system feel like. I decided to record my fifth flight with 3.0 and share how well it works for me. Its not the best flight out there but hopefully one may see how stable it is at 2000hs. I really like the new update.
Sorry about the gear noise as well its my old 600E.

Impossible! 3GX is total junk... It will never fly well! Now, have another glass of kool-aid or two..

Nice flight! That's about all I would need it to do.. I was happy with the 3g...

I bet it is! It's just so funny how people jump on the bandwagon or dislike something that they have never tried...

I recently installed a 3gx on my 450. I had around 100-150 flights with a 7200bx before switching (7200 went on a new heli). I had the 3gx sittting around for a while so I figured it was worth trying.

I like how it flies in the air, I can't complain. For the price difference (got it new in box but in classifieds for big discount). I installed 3.0 and made no other changes to the heli.

My problem is, tipping over. I have tipped over 3 times on spool up and 4 times while spooling down. This is out of ~40-50 flights. Has anyone else had this problem? I try to pop it up in the air quickly so it doesn't have time to tip, but once it starts to go over, there is no stopping it, even with chopping power. I had the same problem today. Flew 2 good flights, on my last landing, it tipped over while spooling down.

I am not touching the cyclic at all during spool up or when landing. I am also taking off and landing on level concrete/blacktop. It only happens very randomly, the rest of the time, it spools up and down just fine. I never had a single tipover with the 7200. Any ideas what might be happening?

The only time it did that on mine was when I inadvertently added swash compensation to my transmitter. Everything must be zeroed out when you perform the 3GX setup.
