I have a JR 11x and some Futaba Bls253's going on an SDX. My problem seems to be that I can't find a way to get the servo's to work the proper way unless I set up the mix to
Aile +60%
Elev -60%
Pit +60%

I have the channels set to
Ch2-up
Ch3_dwn
Ch6_dwn

I can't get it to interact properly unless Elev is set to negative 60%
while the rest are positive 60%
I think I tried all variations of of plugging the servos into different channels.
What am I doing wrong?

That's the way it may work out on your Radio. U can usually swap ail n elev channels but the futaba is the same way. That's normal. The - or + servo values enable ur servos to operate in the correct direction. The closer U get to 0 the less movement you'll see. That's all.

My first question should have been is it ccpm or 1 servo mode? If its ccpm it's okay. If its normal mode then go to your servo reversing screen and do 1 servo @ a time. Follow the rx inputs for each servo and you'll be fine.

It's in ccpm mode
120 degrees.

Is it because of the mixing and matching of radio brand and servo brand?

Okay then your good. When u combine the three servos on ccpm mode u sometimes get 2 of three that operate correctly. The one that doesn't usually needs a value change in the other direction and its done.

I missed that servo question thrown in there. Nope; servos don't know receivers n vice versa. So long as they can be plugged in properly that's all that matters. The business of using same brand servos as the radio is a business thing. The major companies will neverrrrrrr tell u to use someone else's product. Mix match n be merry but do not use different cyclic servos on a ccpm machine. Those 3 should be the same brand and type u choose or you may run into issues with them not moving together, or poor centering etc etc. Come out to Brooklyn when it gets warmer and fly with us sometimes. U don't have to be a 3D jock.
