the price scares me off. I wouldn't mind if they were king of awesome servos, but I just don't see it at the price they offer. $35???? Maybe they've discovered a buried lot of awesome servo parts and can make them at a lower margin that other makers, but I have a hard time believing it.

No name servos are not a viable alternative to me until proven, and that to me isn't my job, it's theirs to prove them to us. In the mean time I'm sure some frugal people may take the bait, but as far as a legitmate pro pilots I doubt you'll see anyone good enough skill wise to tempt fate and use these. If the user is newer etc.. then their judgement to me isn't valid enough either, as in they may not be able to appreciate the presumptive descrease in quality/performance between these and known good servos like JR/Futaba/MKS etc...

But you never really know, either. When I first saw the Orange recievers the HK sells, I figured it was a big rip off. Jump forward a year or two and one guy in the local club has a bunch of them and has never has a single glitch. Last fall I was flying with some friends at a club about fifty miles from home. Got to noticing several Orange recievers in use. Since they have a much bigger membership than my club, I asked if they had had any problems with the Orange recievers. It was unanamous, no problems.
A friend and I ordered several of the six dollar seven channels a couple months ago. We stuck one and a satellite in a Raptor 30 about three weeks ago, about 40 flights and nary a problem. Biggest differance between the Orange and a Spectrum, about 65 dollars.
I don't want to be a beta tester either but the Kingmax servoes might be worth keeping an eye on, they may be the next Orange reciever.
