Curious what folks fly as their go-to heli, if only able to have one. What would it be and why?

I'd have say 500 size for this one. Began my adventure into this a few years back in this class, and it's been the staple in my fleet. Parts are decent $$, not a high maintenance bird IMO and can fly about anywhere. No matter if I buy a 700 or another micro size down the road, the 500 isn't leaving my hangar. Thanks in advance to all the anticipated answers to come.

If I could only have one it would be a gasser.

Any Bergen Century or Miniature Aircraft would do.

My choice would be the MA Whiplash Gasser.

Honorable mention has to be the one that is my dream heli probably because it is the one I will never be able to afford.

BERGEN INDUSTRIAL TWIN

I forgot the VARIO VXL (cant afford this on either)

There is something about a heli that swings 1200mm blades that makes me very very happy.

Nothing for me is a must have. Everything is, a more lucky to have at all. But if I could have one more flying besides my nano it would be a t-rex 450.

I've been fortunate to have many from small to large ,electric ,turbine ect and I keep going back to Align 700N for a daily flyer . Logos, turbines and others just collect dust on the shelf.

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

If i were only able to have just one heli to fly every day, it would have to be my 450 Pro V2 It's easy to haul around and flies great. I can fly it almost anywhere. home, work, on the road

I love the 500 size for the same reasons Blademan loves the 450. Small enough to fly on the spur of the moment and large enough to have a good presence at the field.

Kasama Srimok
ATM its not getting much time in the air because I keep it as my shelve queen, but my Srimok 90N is the one I would never split apart from!

My go to heli is my 130X...No doubt.

I have an Avant Aurora with an OS105 and enjoy the heck out of it but if I could have only one heli...the 130X is it.

I can fly it anywhere and any time I want to.

I literally never use the word literally right.

Trex 600 nitro pro. Hopefully in the future it'll be a Whiplash gasser.

Damn that ground is hard! When's the right time to get out of this money sucking hobby?

Still a big time nitro guy.lol...

If the heli is big enough to carry a real engine,it should have one.

The 700 size is just too big to fly anywhere or anytime I want

Same here. It can be upgraded to have insane power and it will do anything my larger helis can do except for a real auto. And, I can fly it on my front lawn where even a 300X would be tight on space.
