Nice home, but Log homes compared to new spray foamed walls are more efficient then what you have there.
I didn't say there was nothing better! But compaired to stick built home with bat insulation, there way better, You live in your foam house,, I'll live in my Log Home!!
I LOL'd when you say they are "SUPER EFFICIENT" Salesman tell you this?
Again Compaired to most houses built today, a Log Home is more efficient, LOL all you want, I'll laugh when I pay my utility bills, XGM/VGM

I'm not saying your house isn't beautiful. Average homes built with 2x6's and bat insulation is more insulated then a log cabin wall. that's a fact. Spray foam is even better.

Your kidding Right? I don't know where you are getting your facts, but their is no way a 2x6 with bat is better than a 8"x8" round log for insulating,,
I'm not saying your house isn't beautiful
Thanks,, I never took it as you saying my house wasn't beautiful, I thought we are talking about R factor?

We have a crawl space under the house for Heat and air, ele. and plumbing, there's 32" from the bottom of the floor joist, the the ground, Plenty of room to move around, Plus, that's how I wanted it!! When we get all done, there will be a stacked rock on the stem wall, to cover it up, so it will look like the house is sitting on rocks, XGM/VGM

Hey Dennis, it started out at 2150', but after we added the breezeway to the garage, and the shed doormer across the back, it's now 2,500',, XGM/VGM
