Thanks for the kind committs, Yea, the shower floor is really cool, I'm glad we did it that way, I wasn't for sure at first, but after getting it all done, and taking a shower in it for the first time, it really came out cool, you can actually scrub the bottom of your feet with the floor, it's rough, but not to rough if you know what I mean,, Well the Boss went shopping for some Great Room furniture, That woman can spend money,, Oh well you can't take it with you when you go! Here is another pic of the shower floor, and a pic from the balcony, the Front entrance will Look just like the shower floor when you enter the house,, in a half circle, Hope you enjoy!! XGM/VGM

They call it pea gravel around here, But it's small river rock,, and cedar log cut into 1/2" thick pieces of different sizes, First we had to form and pour the floor, then red guard that, We should have glued the cedar pieces down before we poured the epoxy, as they wanted to float up when the epoxy got under them, but that's it,

We are going to do the front entrance the same as the shower, It should look pretty cool when we finish,,
P.S. I have a patten on this!! XGM/VGM

Wow, Can't believe how long finish work takes some times,, Seems like it's never ending, But we are close to being 100% complete on the inside, Outside we have a back deck 12'wide x 40'long, and two rows of log siding on the stem wall to finish the outside of the house, All in all I'm pleased with the way things turned out, Learned alot!! But overall I'll give it a thumbs up!!, We are working on the flooring for the upstairs, and a little trim work, and the inside is complete, Here are a few pic's, Hope you enjoy,,, XGM/VGM

Just fine the upstair heater hardly ever runs, and the down stairs runs for about 15 minutes, and off for 30 to 45 minutes before it kicks on again, my Electric bill was only 160.00 for last month, and we (WIFE) only burned fire wood (Alot) mainly the last couple of weeks, So I'm please, as we have (along with everyone else) had some pretty cold spells here latly!!
