Not sure when it started but I had to send one in for warranty also and with great service got a smaller more compact pack back as well,I called and questioned it and that was the response I got

I just received a set of the 6s 5k 65c packs back from warranty too. Yes they are a bit smaller. Gotta love that Thunder Power warranty. Those packs are worth every penny!
