Ok, so it looks like I will be flying E-helis as I am staging a comeback into this hobby. I will need a good quality charger. What comes recommended these days? I don't mind spending extra $$$ to get a great charger, something I will buy ONCE and use without regretting I should have bought something better... Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Here is what your looking for

Best bang for your buck with what all is included

http://epbuddy.com/index.php?main_p...products_id=220

You will need a good size power supply to get the full 1344w 40a on a 6s

What power source do you recommend for the charger listed in the link above?

Also, to add to my continuing education, will the ParaBoards listed on the site work with another charger that use an external balancing board? Such as a TP 610c for example.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

24volt power supply should do the job.
I you plan on balancing (which is a must) your batteries make sure the charger you select can balance the amount of cells your batteries have.

icharger-206 (20Amps max up to 6 cell balancing)
icharger-208 (20Amps max up to 8 cell balancing)
icharger-306 (30Amps max up to 6 cell balancing)
icharger-3010 (30Amps max up to 10 cell balancing)
iCharger 4010Duo 2000W 40A 10S Dual Port Balance Charger
voltz-101k (30Amps max up to 10 cell balancing)
Powerlab8 (40Amps max up to 8 cell balancing)

epbuddy/experience etc are good places to look for these items

Well, that would have to be the iCharger 4010Duo, right?

There are good 24 volt power supplies available made from server power supply units. Do search in the classifieds on the variouse forums.

A pretty screen doesn't charge batteries. I prefer more go than show.

I'm not sure the firmware is ready for prime time yet on the 4010 Duo. Maybe in another 6-12 months.

Yes it has twice the go when compared to the Hyperion EOS720i SuperDUO! and I haven't seen it in the specs but I bet it will display in 3D with the right glasses too

I was considering getting one, but, based on the issues and feature requests of others, I'm going to hold for now. Maybe in 6-12 months.

Also, it's going to be quite difficult/impossible to extract the max power this charger is capable of from a typical electrical circuit in the USA.

I'm thinking two PL8s may be a better solution.
