Anyone have the Helicommand HC3-sx mounted on the Thunder Tiger X50f?

It appears the dimensions of the HC3-sx are a little too big to mount where the gyro would normally go . . .

Thinking about getting one but wanted to make sure it's possible to mount on the X50f

THANX!

Too big? The HC3-SX is the size of the GP780. Very small and compact. The X50f also has three trays for electronics.

HC3-sx specs say 36mm x 34mm x 14mm

The place where the gyro typically goes is 30mm x 27mm

The GP780 is 40mm x 36mm x 20mm

Top shelve is 30mm x 24mm - 30mm between the frame sides - anything wider will not work

Could mount it on the middle level and the receiver on the top level -plenty of room there - that would work very well with the servo leads coming out of the top of the HC3-sx.

Just wanted to see if anyone else had any experience - still learning on this end . . . .

THANX!

Another option would be buy two satellites, plug them in the HC3-SX, and the unit itself will become your Rx.
