I'm setting up a Spectra G for a friend and I'm having issues with the radio setup for the throttle

Here is the radio setup that seam to work

Tr travel adjust : H80 L80
Hold : -20
Tr curve: L:15 H:100
Throttle trim will go from 15 to 0 when I move it from mid stick to bottom.

This is the only way I managed to get the Hold switch to stay put when i'm at Idle.

Anyone know if this is ok. ?
I'm mostly woried about the hold setting.

Thanks

Jeffrey

Hold should over ride any other throttle setting.

Hold does override all the flight modes.

The only thing that I don't understand is the values i have to put in so the idle position is the same at low stick AND on hold

The hold value is at it's maximum value in order to achieve this and the low throttle is at 15%

I think your problem is the TCurve at 15%
I would set it up as follows.
TC in N 0-100 with what ever you need in between. Trim at 50% to give the idle you want you need to adjust the low end point on the ATV to fine tune this.
Motor cut with trim all the way down
TH value 0, I use +5 for autos
I would also adjust the linkage to get closer to 100/100

Throttle Set Up....
Nothing wrong with your set up... if when you hit hold the engine goes to a reliable idle, you are good to go...

Thanks doorman,

I do find that this situation works ok so i'm going to leave it as it is. I was hoping someone had some ballpark numbers about this setup !

Nicwap

I realy wanted to have the numbers you are sugesting but they don't produce a working hold switch. so I bumped the low point to 15 and hold is now usefull !

Linkage limits are the best I could get with the horns I have but I'm happy with 80% equal travel.

I've been playing mostly with Futaba for a while and this portion of the programing is defferent even if it's the same fonctions !

Thanks to all.

Next question is going to be.. How do I change the gear swith on the plane version of the 9303 to be the flight mode switch !!!

It seams that Gravity is worst around here !

Is this an airplane version XP9303 (older 72 MHz version), or the airplane version of the X9303 (newer 2.4 GHz native mode) transmitter?

MY guess is that once you switch it into Heli mode, you can't assign the Gear switch to become the flight mode switch. Typically in heli mode, the flight mode switch is a 3-position switch. IN the airplane version, the switch you would like to use is a two-position switch.
