Ive got a brand new Lynx gas clutch. I know it will work with my Align 91 engine but because its alot heavier do you think it may make the engine sluggish ?
Or may be even improve the feel making it smoother thus the clutch acting like a flywheel .
Any one tried it , my engine is currently out and I don't know whether to fit it or put std one back in ??hmmm lol

I have been flying the gas clutch in my 700 nitro with no problems
and never noticed any difference in performance.

What's it doing now? Oh it's doing that again!

They break too. I have broken one last season. Not worth the extra cash.

Great question... I almost tried it last year... I use the Lynx nitro on my 700.

Hopefully someone already tried it and will see this thread.

iKon, because I am connected to my heli, are you?

I also have always used the Lynx gas clutch in my 700n for my OS 91hz and now my new OS105. I haven't had one break but they do wear out over time as do the nitro also. I picked the gas clutch liner because it was a little thicker and the clutch is a nice snug fit. I only use one rap of electrical tape and then glue the liner in. It could be hard to start or idle for a few flights but once it breaks itself in it will last a lot longer the the nitro one. The nitro liners are just too loose.

Just to let you know flew the heli today , flew very smooth , heavier gas clutch works perfect , I did refit the plastic fan though as I was concerned about weight .
