Aw yes the 250 I have had 3 since they came out
They have got better, I just converted
To the DFC head and swash.i converted this to
Beast x castle 25 scorpion 3900 motor.

For me it was a great trainer , but
I also had the Trex 500 & 700 nitro.
The 250 is very fast and quick so you really
Have to have fast reaction time.
Weil did not see how long you have been
Flying ? Or if this is ur first??
Also the 450Pro is also good
Hope this helps.

Jim

I have been very happy with my trex 250's, they are a little fast but can be tuned down. I tuned mine down by lowering the cyclic in my swash mix and turning down travel ajustment. Now they are quite flyable in a small area:-)

I have to agree. I love my 250. He is a pretty crazy little bird, but with the DFC kit he is super cheap to crash, pretty quick to fix, and overall cyclic rate is unreal. They can be tuned down if your not into a insane cyclic rate. Only caution is they are a handful on very windy days. Otherwise, for the money, go for it. I love them.

The new T-rex 250 DFC is a great helicopter put a ikon on it and grab a 16T Pinion Gear and never look back, the 3GX is a hit or mix thing I have never had it fly the same two days in a row, I would have said a vbar but I buy most things used and you can get a ikon for under $170 bucks, and keep a eye open for the Gaui vbar for around $150 cant beat it and you have no reason to go pro on a micro helicopter.

I have two of the first generation combos. They have been trouble-free for the gentle sport flying that I enjoy. I finally replaced the tail belts last year, but other than that, they are all original. It might be a different story if you fly 3D.

I'm also still flying my first generation 450SE and 450SA. Other than one belt change each they've been trouble free.

Had one loved it. Then I went bigger and missed it. So now I just recently got another one. They are great little training birds. Just make sure your eye prescription is up to to date they get small quick.

The 250 Trex is a fun machine but it's not a 500, 550, 600, 700 Trex.

Good for the backyard, local park or vacant lot..

Much harder to fly, see orientation.. But cheap to fix..

I have not flown mine for 6 months.. But my heart still has a soft spot for it..
