I have a cgy 750 in transit for my new 630... Is there anyway to get the head speed where I want it without the gov? I had it on a furion 600 and I couldn't get it with an insane head speed, it had enough to fly but more scale than aerobatic. Otherwise I was looking at the beast x controller. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, or else I will probably just go,with a 770 on the tail and an SK 360 for the head...I have that on some multiblade scalers and its where its at

Why don't you want to use a gov, you will get much more efficient and consistent power? You can achieve any head speed you would like (in a hover) through gearing and throttle percentages; but once a load is applied the head speed will drop, when governed, more throttle would be applied and the head speed would remain consistent.

Sorry for the run on

Edit: here is a commonly used head speed calc
