All wired and set up going to maiden soon...

Pretty much left everything default cyclic 10 deg, 69% afr
flight mode 4 the only expert menu setting I touched was the expo..

Probly my best wire job yet... N5C is no easy task to make look pretty haha

Looking good Aaron! I am eager to hear what you think. I haven't gotten to play with a CGY750 yet.

I'll send you my settings tonight. Off the top of my head I believe AFR is around 65% (make sure you have both ail/ele matching). FF mix is 2, I zero out all of the expo in the unit and run it through my TX so that I can run multiple flight modes w/expo. Otherwise, really no reason to tweak in the advanced menus.

I'd like to help, but I'm still on V1.2. It flies so well now that I don't want to mess with changing it to V1.3. I spent a lot of time tweaking the CGY750 to near perfection. If you can get your CGY750 dialed in as well I promise you will be pleased.

Just flew the heli with 100% stock settings, and besides my motor issues OMG I have not had this much fun in a while it is so SMOOOTH, and does exactly what I tell it to do!... I thought nothing could ever come close to my vbar but wow.... I'm SOLD...

now to figure out what is up with my motor... its like I keep losing headspeed... and no power at all its a ys 60 hatori pipe, itll start ofg strong and then slowly get worse and worse I don't get it

only other complaint the gov feels very delayed like 5 seconds from flipping the switch... my reading from the magnet it 96% all other settings stock...

video soon!

Could be that, could be the overly moist air messing with your fuel/air mix.

Could be time for a rebuild, who knows

A little update, I got the motor running good, some new fuel, and a glow plug and holy crap this thing is a beast! I can not bog it doing stationary tic tocs or hard pitch pumps....

Now to figure out one little problem. on hard pitch input my tail jumps hard to the ridght. This is literally my only complaint with the whole system.. any ideas?

if its a nose left, tail right, thats just a torque kick, you need to up the tail pre-comp in the FBL unit.

Looking good Aaron.
The new firmware rocks. I literally did nothing other than check my centers and throws. Kept everything stock and it flies great on the N5C.

Cheers

Precomp on the CGY 750 is the F/F Mixing section of the Rudder Gyro Expert menu. I have not needed to play with this to date. You will need to turn it on then try adding some mixing in the mixing rate menu.
I suggest you go post a query in the FBL section on this forum. I'm sure one of the Futaba guys will chime in.

I will look at my gain numbers later today and post.

Cheers

Alan
