Is there any discount to pre-register instead of on site this year?

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

Yes, you can pre-register. Just go to the ircha site and you will find the link to pre-register. It is actually done by another site called rcflightdeck.

You didn't answer the question, is there any Discount to pre-register this year?

Is there an incentive to pre-register?

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

Care to quote it?
Just looked again, all I saw was a discount for members, I didn't see any discount for registering early. Looks like they get that discount weither they register on-line or in person at the event.

I will be going for the first time. It's going to be a 16 hours road trip getting there Wednesday. So my wife is going and my buddy and his wife as well. I assume pilots can set up a canopy like at other fun fly's? Is there plenty of room or is it limited to the early arrivals?

Thanks

I've never been to this event. I don't want to fly, just come watch the show, look at the displays, see the vendors. Do you have to register if you are just coming as a spectator?

Watching is free. You can mingle in the pits and walk thru all the vendor tents too.

You won't be allowed on the flight line w/o a registration badge.

check list, get busy or you'll be SWAMPED, after that it's time to get SWARMED
Ok, just checked on the golf cart.
camper is ready
just blew some money at 4 different vendors for heli parts
fuel is ready
batteries ready
generator is covered

NOW IT'S TIME TO THINK ABOUT SWARM STUFF

The guys at SWARM have been burning up the internet getting things ready. You say, who the heck is SWARM? Well SWARM is the place you go to let off some steam and tell some war stories and lies after dark on Friday night of IRCHA. It's sort of like a Heli Zombie Night or Walking Dead Heli Pilot gathering. It's the best heli potluck bring something fun to eat/share night at IRCHA. You get your night birds ready and put on your A game night flying routine and listen for somebody saying "hold this, it's my turn, I need a couple spotlights."
SWARM guys love night flying almost as much as Tony Whiteside. And some of our regular buddies like it so much that just a little ways away from the actual party area you might even find some redneck night flyers with spotlights doing it hard, fast and low. Just remember BYOB is bring your own batteries until after you fly, then you are all adults and do what you want.

Meanwhile, drink some slim fast, eat a few Nutrisystem meals, because you'll need a spare notch in your belt for the SWARM party. Home of the famous RUMBALL, the home of Lauchpad's & Coach's wings, Guss's jambalaya, and Wren Jet Ron's pork loins, and this year the return of the "children of the corn" roast, also Timbers deep fried treats to be announced. To get everyone in the spirit DJ Todd will be getting the music going to make the natives restless.

So once the sun goes down and it gets dark, listen for the music, look for the tiki lamps and hike on down the flight line to the other side of the tracks and make it a Friday night to remember. SWARM PARTY BABY!!!!!

Just remember you are still on AMA property and if you're flying, no rumballs till you're done ... and "children of the corn" doesn't stand for "let's go into the corn, children!"

In all seriousness, the SWARM crew has been great about keeping things under control but still having fun. It's up to everyone else to be responsible and safe and not mess things up for all Jamboree attendees.

Just give them a call, they'll get you taken care of. They get insanely swamped when gearing up for IRCHA and who knows what other events.
