Richard,

All my stock 1s eflite chargers take these to 4.21v hot off the charger. If yours are above say 4.22v I would complain to your dealer.

Cheers,
TomC

I never use the eflite chargers I always buy adapters to use with my Hyperion chargers. The only problems I have had with lipo batteries have been with eflite chargers.

I wish they would make a BNF version that is only the heli and a extra battery pack in place of the charger or offer the BNF at a lower price - the charger.

Eleven Bravo,
I completely agree. Why must we continue to buy cheesy chargers with the Blade helis? Eflite offers some of their planes in a "basic" package which includes neither a battery nor charger. When will the Blade side of the brand do that?

I had a chance to fly my BL MCPX outside in low wind no doubt. It flies alot better with the AS3X not fighting the wind so hard.

I did not notice the tail bob that everyone says theirs has. I also did not hover it long enough today

I was not nice to it today and it seemed as if the little guy was saying try harder. I definatly want to get more flight time on it.

Battery sizes
Hello chaps

Been drooling over one of these little fellas coming from much bigger models

I believe the stock batts are 200ma what is the max size you'd suggest before running in to weight and CG problems?

Sorry if this has been covered been away a while

Many thanks

PS really enjoyed the female "holy crap" moment in that indoor vid

Many Chaps are using hk nanotech 2s300 35C packs with mcpx-bl connector and they seem to fit fine and work great. I've ordered a few to try myself.

Cheers,

Many thanks Tom just the kind of reply I was looking for.

EDIT
Just spent 20 mins searching the HK site and can only find the batts with JST connector and 100 posts asking HK to supply them with UMX connector.

Am I looking in the wrong place or do I need to get the wee soldering iron out?

EDIT of EDIT

Sorry silly me just scrolled down and found them

apologies all

Paul

I could not resist buying one. I took it out of the box programed it and flipped it right into the ground. I broke the landing gear but all else seems pretty good. It does seem to have a tail twitch is that normal. None in forward flight just slow hovers.

I have a 3D heli, I don't understand why it doesn't do 3D.

Yes mine has the twitch I promise you if you fly it hard enough you never notice it.

My dumb move for the day is finding a way to put the battery I just ran back into it and flying a second flight with the battery I just ran. I plugged it back in to my charger and the charger said 0% remaining. LVC saved me I guess as the battery charged again and flew another flight today without incident. I hate doing boneheaded things like this that piss off the lil fire bombs.
