think I'm going to suggest the 770 goblin, now, what about electronics? Servos, ESC, Motor?
Whatever is in Bert Kammerer's Goblin is what I'd set it up as.

Logo 800, every part is 800 size! I think for a heli to be considered an 800 it has to be able to swing 800 blades. Can the 770 take 800 blades?I have a 3D heli, I don't understand why it doesn't do 3D.

2 Diabolos

If money was no object I would have a 2ND Diabolo. One setup for smooth 8min flights (750blades), the 2nd for hot rodding w 710blades. It does everything perfect. (the grace and presence of an 800, with the weight and agility of a 700)

As Hirobo don't make a big E heli it would have to be either a TDR or JR Vibe SG E12!

A Hirobo Turbulance D3 electric would be awesome!

FYI,
Hirobo does make the WC Eagle in electric form already, and just came out with an EVO OS gasser with the good FAI on it.

They are "out to lunch" when it comes to a electric models like an E D3

This is interesting. The OP said "if money were no object" and the helicopter most picked is not the most expensive helicopter...

Does this mean that visually appealing wins out over cost?

Ray,

We got Logos (all flavors) TDR, Diabolo, Banshee, Goblins, scale Vario's, and Vibe E12 mentioned.
That about covers the best "or" more popular stuff out there.

I would say it is leaning the Goblin way, although that deffinetly wouldn't be my pick! I would also say it isn't visually appealing at all, but beauty is in the eye the beholder. Kinda like women, you wonder WTF someone would date her Team MyColdHardCash

If money is no issue today, but might become an issue later on, I'd build a Rush 750 today. However, if money is no issue today, and will never become an issue in the future, I'd build an Xxtreme 800 today! If money is an issue today, but will not be an issue later on, I would build a 1000 class electric when they come out!

Regards,
G

ps, Richardmid1, thanks for sharing my heli It took some effort to make it look THAT good
