There's this guy I know that wants me to build him "the ultimate electric heli" and he wants 700+ size and I've been leaning towards telling him to get a SAB Goblin 770, but I want to know what you guys think...

Lol, apache turbine is not electric. Wish I had ANY turbine heli. What's TDR? So far it's between logo and SAB

On a side note, am I wrong in thinking the 770 goblin is 800 size?

if you use a turbine to drive a generator to power the esc then you could have a turbine powered electric heli, I am going to build a Goblin here this spring, great looking heli.

Unlimited funds and an electric heli? It'd probably be a Goblin with nitro power.

A TDR is a Helicopter made for speed. The ones that come in first place at speed runs. (Three Dee Rigid). Mine goes 108 MPH at 1600 HS and the other helicopters are what im going to fly today.

If money was in the object could definitely be a 700 machine. I go for one U-like to fix!

I don't mind working on anything 500 and up really, it's working on the smaller birds that gets me frustrated.

I think that would be counterproductive in the efficiency department :P

Again I must ask, is a SAB Goblin 770 a 800 class bird?
