Problem with my Zenoah G230
I can't prime fuel up to the carburator. If have plenty of fuel to the line because if I blow on the air breather line I can blow fuel out of the carburator line if it is disconnected. I disconnected the fuel line from the carburator and I can't blow thru the fitting on the carburator but I'm not sure if I should be able to.

Any suggestions. By the way when I pump the primer I can see air bubbles in my gas tank but it doesn't suck the fuel. If I take the side of the carburator fitting off I can blow thru the fitting.

Thanks

Rich

No fuel lines all ok. I think I am going to take the carb apart and clean it.

I would guess you have your fuel line and return line backwards. This a new motor or have you run it before?

Bulb
If the bulb is not priming there is probably a problem with the one way inside the white piece that the bulb sits on top of.

If you have a spare carb try the white piece and bulb from that to see if it fixes the priming issue.

I just went through this.
Tilt the heli up or to the side so the fuel tank is as high above the carb as you can get it for gravity feeding, keep primimg it at the same time, I had an air pocket in mine that I couldn't get out.
not a sure thing but I would try this first.
Did you run the carb dry the last time you flew?
That was my problem.
Keep us posted.

another thing u can try is with all fuel lines connected blow into the vent line while priming if thats doesnt do the trick check the metal screen inside the carb. unscrew the metal plate opposite the priming bulb. pull the screen with the tip of an exacto blade carefully. in gas powered thoughts there is a complete break dorn of zenoah carbs and how they work etc.R I P Roman Jr. Team SRW EFC

Also check the black diaphragms, under the single screw cover ect, have not gone hard if the heli has been stood for a while, they should be supple to do their job.Team- unbiased opinion.K.I.S.S principle upheld here

If you see bubbles in the tank when you are priming, the lines are backwards. Try switching them..Happay Happay Happay...
