600sx shimmers at not very low head speed!
New to logos and just got a 600sx, I was getting shakes/shimmering at around 1800-1900 but smoothed out at anything higher. Didn't try anything lower. Could it just be the dampeners needing bedding in and loosening up?

Are you blades on backwards? Are they grips on backwards. The grips should be leading edge. Post a pic of your grips.

600 shake
I have and have had a 600 3d, 600sx and a 600se. One of them is an upgrade to the sx. I have never had a shake like the one you are talking about. If the heli is shaking, something is wrong, period.

It only starts to do it in a hover after a few seconds, I guess it's a resonance thing. I used to get it on my old 600esp at a certain head speed. It doesn't really bother me as I'll be running above 1900 anyway.60% of the time, it works every time!

I would say the head dampening at low head speed the head is really ridged and if its cold that doesn't help either.

600 sx
Flew today and yesterday with my newly upgraded 600sx. 35 degrees yesterday at 1750 HS , no shimmy or shake whatsoever. If a heli is shaking something is wrong, don't confuse shaking and oscillating . A heli with really stiff dampening may rock or oscillate but a shake is usually out of balance. That being said my heli doesn't oscillate either, it's fine at any head speed.

No its definately an oscillation. Its slower and more cirular than an out of balance head shake. Like I said its between 1800 and 1900, maybe it would go away at 1750 or lower im not sure. Ill test it more tomorrow.60% of the time, it works every time!
