Replacing the flybar
So I've searched and searched the net for a video or something to show me how to replace the flybar and I'm not finding much help. I've got a bent flybar and broken seesaw. First I can't figure out how to remove the flybar, and second how to get the old seesaw out of the holder. I've clipped one side of the flybar off and it seems that it should just slide through but it doesn't. If anyone has any recommendation before I take a sledge hammer to this thing I would surely appreciate it.

I've looked at the PDF online, here's a link to an exploded view, seems there are a couple set screws, and if you remove the screw that holds the flybar sleeve, (a #16 right below the blade grips) and the one opposite it, the whole thing should just pull out easy. It doesn't seem that much different from any other flybarred head, other than the fact that it's plastic....

Bottom page has the exploded view, hope this helps.

I have had trouble with that each time I have done it. Take apart the paddle control frame. Don't lose the little brass washers on the flybar. You cut off the flybar at the bearing and just pull it off. Best to cut with a Dremel rather than side cutter because that leaves a burr which won't pull through the bearing.
