Hi Guys

Heading out to the field soon but as expected it is raining outside and from the looks of the radar it is going to be raining for while

However we are still going to be here, probably want have a pilots meeting until later in the day if and when the rain settles down.

A lot of the locals are not going to be complaining about the rain because it has been so dry.

However, things look really nice for tomorrow the big day. The rain should have past through and temperatures will be in low 80's and a great day for flying.

Friday Schedule is very tentative

Open flying all day provided the rain allows it.

Saturday, weather looks great

Registration Begins around 8 AM

Pilots meeting around 9:30 (first pilot prize for preregister guys)

Open flying all morning

Scale contest

Noon

Pilot raffle for preregistered pilots followed by the
non sponsored demo contest.

1 PM pro demos (encouraging everyone to take some video)

Open flying

4:00 PM Auto Contests

5:15 Raffle

Open flying

7:00 Pizza Dinner for the night flyers

8:00 Nightflying begins.

Hi guys

For those that might be coming for the first time we will have concessions at a nearby baseball field about 100 yards or so from the flying area.

You do have to pay for your own concessions but they should be there the biggest part of the day Saturday.

Friday is pretty much been rain but Saturday calls for a beautiful day and great temperatures so we hope to see everyone that didn't come Friday here Saturday.

Registration
Registration is 25.00

Concession, depending on your set up location is about 75 yards ( not years) or so from the flying area. Concessions ran by the ball organization.
Pizza on Saturday evening around 7pm and maybe some other things to go with it.

Weather forecast looks better in the morning. We are planning on a good day and we will do our best to make it a successful FF regardless of all the rain. At least there is no "dust" due to dryness.

come on, you posted 100 years. I have 20 left at best; and if I was that hungry, i'd died a starving casualty...

100 yards! Dont think my short legs can manage that either, LOL

Get consesions to contract a large quad with a delivery basket, you know, get with the times

Santiago

PS

Stan is right, Im just jealous I cant be there.
Have fun guys!

Actually this is more embarrasing for me than what it looks.
I was checking out another event thread was planning to attend tomorrow, and by accident I click on this thread and posted thinking the concessions post was about the Buckeye event, so I jockingly posted.

It was not until Stan said "is just Santiago making trouble" I realized, OH CRAP, I'm on the wrong thread

You can all laugh now

Enjoy your time at the Buckeye event Santiago, I am sure that Shannon puts on a great event.

It rain down here in SRC country pretty much all day and quite a few people showed up with still some flying going on.

Well tomorrow the weather is suppose to be absolutely beautiful, the skies have already started clearing and the moon is out tonight, so we are planning on having a great time tomorrow and Sunday for those that want to stay over.

Registration will start around 8:30, and even it you preregistered please stop by the show central area to pick up your pilots badge and raffle tickets and the rest can register there as well.

The pilots meeting will be around 10 AM and for you preregistered pilots I will be drawing for the Heli-Max AXE 100 SSL, One of you is going to win that helicopter but you have to be present to win.

At 12 Noon things are really going to start hoping. We will draw for the pilot prizes to be given away for the preregistered pilots and you have to be there to win those.

Followed by the non sponsored demo contest and Sponsored demo contest.

Then we have some hot pro demos.

Jamie and Ben will do demos for Align, Curtis is going to do one with his new Sting Ray, Simon V is going to do a demo for the new 700 size KDS AGILE 7.2. A fantastic helicopter, and we are looking forward to taking a lot of video and posting it of these demos

4:00 PM for the auto contest and right after that we will pull for our Main Raffle prizes including the Rave 635 and KDS Agile 7.2. One are going to have the give away a little earlier this year because

we are going to allow people to get extra raffle tickets but you Have to be there to win the KDS Agile 7.2
So if you buy tickets you have to be there to win this one.

7:00 PM Free pizza for the night flying crowd and night flying activities and also UFO launch is back on again for this year.

One more thing, we are considering allowing people to pit a little farther out into the field if there are wet area close to the road.

See everyone in the morning have a safe trip and look forward to a lot of fun tomorrow.

Wish I could have made it this year but I got called on by my martial arts master to judge a tournament that he is putting on, also my brother tested for his second degree black belt last month and his ceremony where he receives his belt is tonight! And I am required to be involved in it.

Maybe next year I will be able to fly with y'all again! But for now! This is where I'll be...

Y'all have fun!
