I could be wrong but I think with the sbus2 servos, If you use a 18mz or 14sg you can program the servos right from the tx screen
when they are pluged into the rx and the rx is powered on. U do not have to plug them into the back of the tx.

Yes that's correct the 18 mz has built in software to program the s-bus servos. Seen it in the manual but no used it yet. You plug into a socket on the back next to the charging socket." one day I will learn to fly till then I will just hover"

I think the question is if you can program your servos SBUS2 tru the TX -> RX -> Servos. If so that is very neat. And how cool would it be if you can program a bail out switch to set your SBUS2 servo torque to almost zero, This way there is no way you can burn the servo or strip the grears.

I believe I was wrong. I did not realize that the 14sg has a programing port in the back like the 18. If you look at the picture in the web link below it says that you can use the 14 or 18 to program servos. I read that and though that the 14sg did not have the port in the back so guessed you could do it wireless.

I think they are only talking about programming tru the port. How every I think there is advantage using SBUS servos vs standard.
