AFE + Dynatron = top shelf starter. It's what I have along with the Sullivan wand. Very expensive compared to others but it works. I also have a Dynatron for my airplanes that is over 20 years old. Works great. Hooked up to 24V it spins a gasser like it's an OS 32 :-)

Thanks....I'm hovering over the buy it now button on that adapter.lol...

Problem is...I have NO Makita batteries or chargers.
I have DeWalt,Porter Cable,Hilti,Craftsman, and a few others....I hate to buy a Makita rig with all the others I already have.
I literally never use the word literally right.

I have run a hobbico 90 and 180 on nothing more then 2 7 cell Nimah in series. A few manufactures like Centurey make a rubber holder to attach to your starter . I have used the torque master 90 and have easily turned over a G26. It's about 18 volts at peak. When using only a 12 volt set up most seem to strongal a bit.Bladescrape

I love my Dnyatron/Finer Edge/Makita setup. It's got to be 5-6 years old and still going strong w/o a problem. I'm using the Robbe start shaft and the rubber cup so it works great for planks or helis.

Makita battery was about $55 and the charger was about $50. I got both on ebay at least 3 years ago now. It works great in the A Finer Edge Mfg adpater which was $45. Completely worth the price and time saved screwing with other setups.
