I think I have it all figured-out.
I think that the secret initiative with all of this gun control stuff is that the President is trying to get the country back on track by creating a lot of "buzz" about gun control. More and more people are buying-up as many guns and ammo as manufacturers and distributors can handle, and all at premium prices, hence providing an "economic boost"

That is why he signed two bills that had pro gun legislation attached to them. That is why he has not put forward or signed any anti gun legislation. 4 years and he has done nothing at all to get rid of guns. Oh wait, that's right, he was waiting to get re-elected because his supporting base is full of pro gun rights people.

I keep saying it buddy. He was keeping his powder dry for the first four years. You're about to see a whole different Obama. Just wait. I won't only say "I told you so", I'll be doing the "I told you so dance"....
Guns are 180 degrees from his whole program. An unarmed citizenry is easy pickings for what he wants to do and all part of the whole one-worlder agenda. Guns must go before the other pieces can be slowly put in place on a sleeping populus.
Incidentally, I thought (and predicted) people bringing up repealing the 14th (presidential term limits) would take at least a year. I was WAAAAYYY off on that one. They brought it up to see how the public reacts. It will raise it's head again (probably after the 2014 elections if the Dems get their majorities back in both houses).

Unarmed citizenry, now that is funny.

It is impossible for Obama or any other politician to get rid of our guns. They may ban future guns of a certain type like the AWB that happened, but they can not take them away from us. Stop looking at what is not possible and look at what is possible.

As for repealing the 14th, this is not the first time or will it be the last time it might be tried.

I think it will be before the next elections, that way the liberals will vote in all democrats to make it a reality.

Yes, help the economy with all the gun buying, then turn around and charge the same people a big fee to keep your gun or a lower fee for the government to take your gun away and destroy it.

FHB, sometimes your stupidity is truly comical. presidential term limits were put in place after fdr was elected for four terms, and that was about a 100 years after the 14th amendment, which guaranteed equal protection. jesus, it takes a few seconds to google information, why not at least pretend to have your facts straight before making it apparent (again) what a complete moron you are?

do you have the slightest f ing clue of what is involved in repealing an amendment? or is it just being able to sound concerned speaking to similar clowns that is important to you?

education - the difference between a reasoned argument and simply making noise.

Geez, a bit harsh, koppter. He got the amendment incorrect but we all knew what he was referring to. Personally I have respect for fla heli boy as he doesn't just throw insults and label people right away. We disagree on a some things but he is quite level-headed compared to the few extreme wackos who hang out here.Signature

OK - then the article I read in a national publication was wrong. I didn't know WHICH ammendment it was, but read it that way the other day. I know full and well when and why it was enacted. I believe it was an addendum to the 14th. I also know the 14th was an ammmendment to grant citizenry to freed slaves.
Jerk-off, I will debate you all day long. This is the second time you've some here to specifically take pot shots at me You wanna make it personal, let's get it on.
PS moron. I've IQ'd at 141 and hungover as hell at 18, scored in the 99.8 percentile statewide on the ASVAB. I'll challenge you to any kind of test you choose. Balls' in your court libtard.

PSS - what does it take to repeal an ammenment??? I know I know, just wondering if you do. My point was this: that they're even THINKING about it, especially with the biggest idiot to ever hold the position.

Thanks Hudson. I can get over the top sometimes, but that's simply because I care about my country. My oldest is getting ready to have my first grandchild (a boy!!) and I'd like to think this kid will have some kind of a place to live and be proud of. I don't like the way we're headed...pure and simple. This is NOT the country I grew up in.

fhb...pretty easy to be a tough guy when separated by 3k miles. there is no debate to be had...debate means being able to construct a reasoned argument, recognizing the argument of the opposition, and attacking its flaws. you can't spell or do basic research..which in itself shows you care little about facts, another fundamental tool in a debate. you rely on dogma, nothing else.

i've read your spiel about your supposed intellect before, and so you intend to brag about it, but your days are spent posting rants here? the world and the country are what they are. there are warts and there is beauty. you can spend your days playing the victim yearning for whatever solace you took in yesteryear or you can accept our country for what it has become and make a positive contribution to the future. you don't have to like it...dissent is healthy. but epithets towards others who share an opposing viewpoint - libtards, or whatever isn't going strenghten your position. instead, it makes you look weak minded. so is it personal? yes, because think for a moment what you might have accomplished if you invested your intellect and time into promoting a social program.

promoting a social program.
My social program is slapping down idiot libtards such as yourself and exposing you for what you are.
If you think 3k miles is what makes me act a "tough guy", you're sadly mistaken. My guess is you were one of the pu$$ies that got bullied and I stood up for back in the day. Just because I don't believe in handing out free crap to everybody that asks for it, does not make me heartless. Just the opposite. I believe in helping others, when it's warranted. I don't believe in helping the lazy. You live in the land of the lazy, the shiftless, the schemers that think nothing of living off the government teet for generations. I was raised to abhor those people and I will never have a change of heart on that account. If that makes me a bad man in your eyes, well then, so be it. In my eyes, you're a sucker and worse than that, you are an enabler.

PS - I work from home on a computer, often for 12-18 hours a day. My e-mail is always open for clients. When I need a break, I pop over here to annoy the likes of you. So to say I spend my days on here, well, once again, you're wrong. Why aren't YOU at work??? Or do you steal from your employer by being on here when you should be working. Or, is it more likely, that you don't work at all and you come here when you're bored playing Call of Duty in your mom's basement???
