Important note RE: new 700n DFC canopy
On the older Trex 700N model you could get away without using the canopy clips to hold the canopy to the standoffs. With the new model and new design of the canopy that clips MUST be installed. The canopy angles make it easy for the canopy to pop off in flight and could cause damage so please make sure you use the clips.Rich Sabin

The only issue with the new canopy i notice is. It very difficult to take off and put on the canopy in the bottom corner above the exhaust pipe. I have burned my self few times.
