Got a nitro Whip on the way, just wondering what servos people are running? Has anyone used the Align 615's on their Whiplash?

I'm
running MKS on mine. You should get the highest torque at about .10-.13sec that you can afford. I would go with no less than 120oz/in on cyclic.

The 615's run 144oz @ 4.8v and .09sec @ 4.8v.

I planned on running a regulator, the 615's specs seem really good for the price. Or would it just be wrong to put an Align servo on a MA?

Running BLS255HV's and BLS451's on mine for cyclic, and BLS256HV or BLS251 for tail. Working very well.

Ok
I didn't know the specs on that servo. I don't see why they won't work. You should go with MKS.lol which FBL system are you going with?

I have outrage 9180 & 9188 torque's on mine. They are tight and strong. Tail servo is a little noisy but fast and accurate.

Who in their right mind would run Align servos in a Whiplash. I on the other hand run Savox servo's in my Whiplash Gasser

I think i'm leaning towards the 615's and 655. Should work fine for me.

I just installed MKS HBL 665 & HBL 669 in my Whiplash gasser.

HBL 665, Operating Speed (7.4V) 0.10 sec, 211 oz/in
HBL 669, Operating Speed (7.4V) 0.04 sec, 70.82 oz/in

The Align servos will work just fine. They really are Savox servos with Align labeling.

Running Align 610's in my Whiplash N, Fury 55, and Furion 6.

They perform well and I have had zero problems.
I personally know many others using 610's also.

Align servo's offer good bang for the buck. Service life seems good too. BUT I love my Futaba BLS HV's.
