Hello friends, Here is a little tip i thought i would share with you all, its a simple mod that lifts the CofG up a bit and makes the model fly loads better for 3D especially for inverted pirouetting manoeuvres,

Thanks, i love the mods that dont cost anything but really make the heli fly loads better, all i used was a cut down bit of foam from a old trex 250 blade holder and a bit of double sided tape.

not at all, in fact when you balance the nano as standard its a little tail heavy anyway so this mod also seems to solve that problem, thats why the model pirouettes better when you move the battery forward as well.

So you have to remove the canopy each time you want to plug/unplug the lead? Won't that be a PIA?

yes you do have to remove the canopy to get to the battery but believe me it is a small price to pay for the increase in flight performance but most people have to do that for bigger helis anyway.

its like this, it cost nothing to do and if you dont like the way it feels you can take it off and put the battery back underneath, but i do feel it dose fly better with this mod.
