I had some extra xmas cash and bought a trex 100x thinking it would be a fun indoor heli.
If i was a first time flyer there is no way i could have set this up to fly,I still can't get it to fly right and i have been flying heli's for well over 10 years.

no 2 flights are ever the same, one moment it feels ok and the next thing you know I am holding full right rudder just to keep it in place.

kind of a waste of 100 dollars, should have kept it for batteries for my trex 500!lol

I bought the heli on ebay, not sure if they will take it back.

I guess i expected a little more than this from align,I loved my trex600nsp until I powerdrove it into the ground.

If anyone has one and has some tips i would love to hear them!

I will keep tinkering and see what happens, after all it's only money.lol

I noticed that no align reps are answering this topic, probably because they know this heli is junk!!
I sent 2 emails to align and gave them my phone number, hopefully they will respond.
I should have done some research before i bought it,are the trex250's better?

The Trex 250 is a nice little heli, but it's not for everyone. It takes extra time and setup effort to fly well, and is a bit finicky at times. With some TLC it flies nicely for its size.

Thanks for the buyer beware post. Was on the fence last week with the 100x and mcpx. Haven't read anything good on either one.

More than a year ago, I had similar rudder problems with my 100 but it was a 100S, the one older than the 100X. Being my first heli I searched the forums for a solution. Someone suggested putting in Nine Eagles Solo Pro tail blades.

For some reason it worked!

Also I remember turning the heli on first before Tx to make sure you arent moving the heli about while the gyro is initializing
