I expect flybarless controllers probably need faster servos than flybarred, but just how fast?
I have some BLS252's, I assume they will be fine for sport flying?
If the servo can't keep up with the controller, can this result in damage or wear?

Your 252's should be fine, Most of the speed comes from the fingers and thumbs.

+1 on what wrongler said...

Your BLS252 servos have 175oz of torque with .13 secs of speed which is 100% perfect and will work awesome..
We have a guy in out area flying JR DS8311's with FBL and there alot slower and have alo less torque than your BLS servos--> 146oz of torque and .16secs of speed..

Thanks, I'll stick with the 252s.
