My 450 pro is about 2 years old now. Just wondering if there has been any major changes or upgrades that should be done? Are parts still readily available.

I fly mine all the time and never had to buy any parts yet so just checking to see if this heli is being phased out at all. I don't follow the align line much, but do know they like to only keep helis around for a couple years.

I bougt the 450DFC, it's pretty much the same with a few minor improvements other than the DFC head. Great flying heli. lots of parts support.

I don't think the Pro is going away. I have a v1 Pro with v3 parts. All v3 parts fit v1 and v2 airframes. I can't think of anything off of a v1 that I've had to look hard for.

Isn't the tail different from 2 years ago.

That's a good question
One way would be the tail gearbox. The v1 uses a separate silver color cross member at the very back of the tail rotor gearbox. The v2 has this machined into the gearbox halfs. The v3 has a completely new tail box and slider.

I've been slowly putting on v3 parts on my v1 as I need them. Thus far I have the new tail box, servo mounts, gyro shelf, dfc head, canopy.

Yes it is. All the parts are interchangeable it seems though. I haven't come across anything that won't fit on a older machine the except little tail pitch slider that screws into the yoke

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look at mine, but I think it is a v1.

If it's the one in your gallery, it's a v1. I should have thought to look sooner.

Now you can also get slant gears to make it a little quieter.

I would like to put a nitro in it to make it louder.

A baseball card in the spokes of the main gear would do it
