The current administration has no idea how to "create Jobs" because its head has never held a real one.

Sad but very very true...

The way I think about it is, when you buy a hobby piece of equipment, it should be a total write off financially right out of the hobby shops door. If I can't commit to that notion, then either I can't truly afford the toy or I am not mentally able to commit to handle a loss like that.
That was how this hobby was explained to me. I personally think the retail prices are massively inflated just like furnature. Everyone knows the mark ups so second hand it is very low value.

Haven't really seen any super deals in the Classifieds lately,
I have been looking for another heli and nothing screaming "buy me" I am a great deal!

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

One of the biggest factors weighing on all businesses and ultimately to each of us as individuals, is the total uncertainty of what is going to happen. Both parties are responsible, the last 15 years or so, of kicking major problems down the road and refusing to make the hard decisions that are required to solve them.

If they would just hammer out some real long term policies, even if they suck, we might at least have a chance. You can't play the game if you don't even know the rules, or if they are just "temporary rules", and that's where we are at. So even the guys that have money are sitting on the sidelines. They have NO idea what the odds are going to be, so there is no way they will gamble. Gamblers will play long odds, but they want to at least KNOW the odds.

These bozos haven't even passed a budget in almost four years, and now they are going to take over the health care industry. It is insane. I still don't know how this President got re-elected, but that is where we are at. Until some things get more solid, the folks with the money are going to hang on tight. That hurts all of us.

On that note, I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year, and pray that things will change for the better. Glad to see RR back up.

The economy sucks and disposable income is at a premium. People are holding cash because of fear of the future. Makes the price of used stuff go down and a longer amount of time to actually sell....often at a low ball price.

I don't believe the liberal media. Things suck no matter how much someone tries to tell me they don't.

This week I got lucky, I managed to move a bunch of RC Stuff to fund another project. That project turned out to be an E-Flite Carbonz Yak 54, not exactly a heli but at least I am keeping my LHS in business :-)

As for the 50% percent or less rule...Agreed I can make the purchaser happy because he got a good deal :-)

Have a great new year everybody and let's make 2013 a good one.

Gord.
